Research

• My research falls within the groups Algorithmics, Discrete Mathematics.
• I am currently PI of the project Packing, covering and partitions of digraphs which is supported by the Danish research council for independent research.

• As of April 1, 2009 I am professor in discrete optimization.
• From June 1st 2004 to April 1 2009 I was professor with special duties (in Danish professor mso). The special duties were to increase collaboration with industrial companies with the goal to increase knowledge transfer to industry and to incorporate problems comming from industrial applications in education and research.
• From 2011 to 2023 I was chief editor of Discrete Mathematics and Theoretical Computer Science.
• I am on the editorial board of Discussiones Mathematicae Graph Theory
