Mission

The intention is that the research training program should cover the entire spectrum of competences required to produce quality solutions to computationally hard and computation intensive problems from theoretical analyses to actual implementations on a variety of platforms. Only by integrating knowledge and experience from all the areas involved is it possible to arrive at the most efficient, highest quality solutions.

Graduates educated under the program should be specialists in all or significant parts of this process. We give equal emphasis to educating Ph.D.'s for research and industrial positions.
