DEPARTMENT OF MATHEMATICS AND COMPUTER SCIENCE ODENSE UNIVERSITY A Practical Real-Time Systolic Integer Multiplier Guy Even Department of Computer Science Technion - Israel Institute of Technology Thursday, June 1, 1995, at 2:15 PM Room 68 We describe a construction of a practical real-time systolic integer multiplier. Our multiplier requires roughly half the hardware (number of half-adders) as compared to Atrubin's multiplier, which is the best real-time systolic multiplier known to-date. We demonstrate how the systematic use of design methodologies, including retiming, leads to efficient and easy to understand circuits. Peter Kornerup
