Our group covers a wide range of topics within the overall area of mathematical analysis, with particular emphasis on operator algebras, group theory and non-commutative geometry. Our research is currently supported by the projects 'Automorphisms and Invariants of Operator Algebras' and Classical and Quantum Distances funded by the Independent Research Fund Denmark Our seminar usually meets on Thursdays, and all upcoming talks will appear on our calendar. Students interested in specializing within analysis should consult this page.

Research interests

My research is focused on C*-algebras and their interplay with noncommutative dynamical systems. I am interested in both structural properties of algebras and their applications to Noncommutative Geometry. I investigate automorphisms and group actions on operator algebras.

Research interests

My research focuses on various aspects of noncommutative geometry and in particular on the investigation of finer invariants relating to the differential geometry of noncommutative manifolds. Keywords include: Unbounded KK-theory, Dirac operators, Quantum metric spaces, Algebraic K-theory, Operator spaces.

Research interests

My research is based in the interplay between group theory and operator algebras. Some keywords: L2-Betti numbers, quantum groups, measure equivalence, amenability, property (T). For more details, see my personal webpage.

Research interests

My research is about the structure and classification of amenable C*-algebras and amenable maps between C*-algebras, as well as the invariants used for classification such as K-theory and traces. I also work on graph C*-algebras and C*-algebras coming from groupoids.
