DM26, Fall 2005 - Weekly Note 9

The semi-annual "Pizza meeting" at Imada takes place Tuesday, November 29, 16.00 to 18.00 in U20 and U24. The meeting is for all students at Imada, and is an informational meeting where the elective (valgfri) courses planned for next semester will be presented, and info on masters and bachelor thesis writing will be given. Pizzas, beers, and sodas will be served at the end of the meeting.

Details of indexes: ISAM-trees, B-trees, and hashing. Start on query evaluation: external sorting.
