Textbook

We will be using

Database Systems, An application-Oriented Approach, Introductury Version, 2nd Edition, by Kifer, Bernstein, Lewis. Addison-Wesley, 2005. ISBN: 0321269837

The book can be bought at Studenterboghandlen. It has its own website with additional material.

We will be using Chapters 1-13 in this book. However, it has a larger version (same title, but now Complete Version instead of Introductury Version, and ISBN is 0321312562).

This larger book only costs around 25% more, but is twice as long and chapters 1-12 are identical in the two versions. Some may find it interesting to buy the larger book and get a lot of extra material (though not part of curriculum of DM505) for little extra money.
