• Sipser Exercise 1.6: All subproblems except b and h. Subproblems c, g, and j will be used later, so emphasize those.
• Sipser Exercise 1.14.
• Sipser Problems 1.41 (Intl 1.31), 1.45 (Intl 1.35).

I recommend that you use Sipser Exercises 1.1-1.3 as a review of the lecture material, but these exercises will not be covered in class.
